Tom Jackson is a co-owner and Principal Broker of Prudential Nutshell Realty. He has 13 years experience working with sellers and buyers as an Ulster County Realtor and considers ethical standards, honesty and depth of knowledge to be the most valued attributes of a successful broker.

Tom brings to our company extensive experience and knowledge in land sales. Before becoming a Realtor, he spent 14 years as a Licensed Land Surveyor and managing partner of a local land surveying company.   

Tom also has 18 years experience in municipal planning and government, including 10 years as Supervisor of the Town of Marbletown. His many years of community service include participation in the Marbletown First Aid Unit, the Marbletown Zoning Board of Appeals, the Ulster County Development Corporation and the Ulster County Housing Consortium.

Company management duties are shared with Tim & Laurel Sweeney, who founded Nutshell Realty with Tom in 2002. Tom’s daughter, Anna Barcone is also a Realtor and participates in office management. Anna and Tom work together as an effective team on all of their real estate activities. These strong relationships exemplify the team approach that is at the heart of our company’s mission to serve.
